Chad Quill is a senior business manager for BAE Systems IT & Cybersecurity Solutions (ITCS). Quill leads IT and cybersecurity-related merger and acquisition activities, manages strategic planning activities, and manages open source software initiatives. Prior to joining BAE Systems, Quill held various management and technical leadership roles at SAIC, to include: business development lead for CloudShield’s acquisition and integration, cybersecurity business unit marketing director, product manager, program manager, systems engineer, and operations research analyst. Quill has more than 10 years of experience within the intelligence industry. Educational background includes a M.B.A. from Johns Hopkins University, a B.S.E. in Industrial and Systems Management Engineering from Arizona State University’s Barrett Honors College, and an International Business Certificate from Arizona State University’s Barrett Honors College.

Mobile Technologies Leader - OSSI Industry Advisory Board
Chief Innovation Officer, Open Source Software Institute
AJ Jaghori serves as the Chief Innovation Officer for the Open Source Software Institute. His prior posting was as the CTO of Mobile Technologies at L-3 Communications STRATIS where he built enterprise mobility products for the government. He serves as Executive Council on the Board of Directors at The Open Source Software Institute and is a Mentor at Google (Summer of Code). Previously, Mr. Jaghori founded Cambridge, MA based startup The Social Genome Project, GenSomatic (D.C.), and IPcerts (San Francisco). He has also served in leadership roles at Verizon, Google, and U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Mr. Jaghori had a 3 year tenure as a Technical Instructor at the Cisco Networking Academy. He was involved in early stage development of the Android mobile operating system and has led the development of more than 50 Mobile "Apps" to date. He is a frequent keynote speaker in mobile, social media, and data networking forums. He is also an active figure in the bi-coastal startup communities and a member of the U.S Coast Guard Auxiliary. Mr. Jaghori has received numerous technology accolades and continues to surge as an elite technologist. In July 2011, Computer World Magazine called him a "new hero" and said that his "transformational" social media application, iLiger, "may very well create the next social wave. AJ lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and son.

Director of National Security Programs, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Security
John Farrell is the Director of National Security Programs in Hewlett-Packard's Enterprise Security Products Group. He joined HP in 2011 and during his tenure there has worked on various issues including software assurance, static and dynamic code analysis, open source software security and critical infrastructure cybersecur ity. John currently focuses on policy development, business process changes, personnel education and technology automation. He also represents industry matters on a number of technology groups and advisory committees. Previously, John worked at Gartner Inc., in Arlington, VA, IBM Internet Security Systems, GTSI, Mobil Corporation and the U.S. Navy.
John has a B.S. in Applied Science from the United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD. He is married, has two grown sons and resides in Northern, Virginia.

Russ Gilbertson is the Chief Engineer for GDIT’s National Intelligence Sector. He has broad knowledge in National Intelligence systems, Information Technology (IT), satellite and terrestrial communications, telephony, enterprise management, and program & project management. His duties at GDIT include supporting new business initiatives from early capture through initial implementation and deployment; researching and recommending new and innovative technologies and solutions; developing and enhancing GDIT’s system engineering capabilities; and, mentoring engineering resources. Current and previous clients include: domestic and international commercial companies; US/UK governments; and, multiple agencies within the Intelligence Community. He is a former Air Force communications electronics officer last stationed in northern Saudi Arabia as Director of Operations for a communications group during Desert Storm.

John previously served as a Chairman at the Open Source Software Institute for several years and is now an active member. Prior to founding Autonomic Resources, John’s experience includes an executive leadership in business development for a large commercial technology services firm and as a Corporate Information Director for a large regional security firm in the New York. Dr. Bill Grossmann is senior vice president of Global Projects Design responsible for Europe and the Middle East and currently serves as an adjunct professor in the Department of Aerospace and Ocean Engineering at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, VA. Prior research positions have included serving as a senior scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics in Munich, Germany and as a research professor of Applied Mathematics and associate director Magneto Fluid Dynamics Division at New York University's Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. He has also served as a vice president and chief scientist at SAIC.
Dr. Grossmann is a member of the OSSI Industry Advisory Board leading efforts identify global alliances within the international community of public and private-sector entities.

Robert Sterling has experience in the US and abroad as an entrepreneur, manager and strategic adviser. As an entrepreneur over the past 30 years, he has been involved as a co-founder, officer, director and early investor in numerous companies. He began his career as a Wall Street attorney; taught law at two law schools; lectured in business strategy; worked as an investment banker and since the 1970s has been a venture capital investor. He received a BA from the University of Virginia, an MBA and a JD from Columbia University. He is a life member of DAV.org.
Sterling is a member of OSSI's Industry Advisory board and leads efforts to identify and secure investment opportunities for open source projects that are considered projects “of interest” within the Government and commercial marketplace.
